Thought this might help...

When I'm sad or stressed or worrying out things, I always tend to listen to music as a kind of release of those feelings now. I keep a journal of lyrics and such that relate to my emotions, without actually having to write down specific things. I just thought I'd share lyrics with you to a song I love to listen to when I need a little inspiration. It's called "Better Things" by Dar Williams...

Good luck to everyone who is beginning or has begun their recovery. I find the way that I made it this far is by finding a new release for the pain and I hope a little insight to mine helps. I know its not a replacement, but it does me good. Angry music when mad, imspirational music when sad etc etc. Its a good way to relax, calm down, and think things through.
